See our calendar for paddling dates and times.

What to wear

  • Lightweight spray jacket if it’s cool
  • Comfortable clothes, similar to those you’d wear to the gym

What to bring

  • Change of clothes for afterwards, you may get wet
  • Water bottle

What we provide

  • Buoyancy aid (PFDs)
  • Paddle

What to expect

We’ll take you through a safety briefing and an introduction to paddle technique. We’ll do a warm up with the whole crew, load the boats and then spend around 45 minutes to an hour on the water. Our beginner sessions are especially tailored for people who’ve never paddled before and there is not problem if you need to stop paddling for a bit and have a rest. The first session is all about you feeling comfortable, having a go and enjoying being out on the water with other people.

Afterwards

You can find out more about the club, membership, racing and the different events that we do.
