The Friday was a Corporate Challenge Day with Camerons sending enough of their people to fill four boats once we had a sweep, drummer and strokes in place. When I first saw them about 10.30, there were hunched shoulders, uncertain faces, a bit of worry for some, but at 3pm when we’d given them training, safety instructions, put them in a boat and they’d raced the hell out of each other, there were smiles and laughs all round, happy, relaxed people, a pleasure to see.
Many thanks to DBT, the Nipples, DATH and the Tittilaters who worked hard all day to achieve these smiles.
Thanks to Paul and Jean for the bucket lunch. Great invention.
